Top 10 Best Damn Gluten Free Snacks

I was 34 years old when I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. I didn’t even know what Gluten was. I found out it’s a substance in wheat and other grains. It’s basically bread. But go Google and research for yourself. For me, knowing I have Celiac Disease, Gluten is my enemy. So, after a year of being thrusted into this Gluten Free world, I can save you some time at the grocery store and let you know which Gluten Free snacks are a must have.
Popcorn, the tasty and healthy snack that allows for endless snacking. Perfect for long movies or knockout books you can’t put down. It can come in all flavors, but if your me, you love the Smartfood White Cheddar. It’s a childhood favorite and a happy surprise when I learned about my new gluten free lifestyle.
This is an obscure snack that’s one of my personal favorites. I don’t know many people who even know about these, but they are another childhood favorite. Delicious and made of corn and potato, it’s the perfect Gluten Free craving killer.
When your mouth is on fire from the hot fries, a perfect popsicle is all you need to cool down and enjoy another delicious snack. There are lots available, but my personal favorites are frozen water-ice. Lemon is my personal favorite, but strawberry is always a good backup.
Grab a bottle of honey or dry roasted peanuts, these are totally Gluten Free and perfect for snacking. I usually do Dry Roasted and Honey, but you can always grab some almonds, pistachio, macadamia, walnut, cashew, pecan, and a ton others. Gluten free doesn’t have to be all bad, at least you don’t have a peanut allergy. If you’re like my friend Dave and you do, I hear they are close to a possible cure so I have my fingers crossed for you.
7.Fruits and Veggies
If you disagree that this is considered a snack, think again. People are becoming much more health conscious, and that means less chips and more veggies. They don’t have to suck though. Learn to cook broccoli correctly and you’re going to fall in love with veggies. Delicious carrots, a clementine, or a perfect strawberry is a great way to subside those sugar cravings with something a bit healthier.
Don’t you dare tell me this isn’t a snack, because it is. If you cook it my way, it’s the easiest snack to cook.
Put bacon on cooking sheeting with tin foil
Place in COLD oven at 400 degrees.
Take out at 15 min, flip bacon, and cook for about 2 to 5 Minutes.
You just made delicious snacking bacon. Add maple syrup and crack pepper for added flavor.
Sugar is allowed when it comes to Gluten Free lifestyle. This is a snack list, so your doctor can tell you what you should and shouldn’t be eating, for me, Swedish Fish tell me what to do. I like them a bit stale. My other favorite candy is Circus Peanuts. If you are a psychopath like me and love Circus Peanuts, hit me up, we can rule the world together. Mike and Ike’s and Sour Patch kids also need to be mentioned. CANDY!!!!!!!
I’m running out of snacks, so let’s go with one more childhood favorite. The string cheese. If you eat it string by string, it takes a good amount of time to eat, making it another great snack. You can eat some of delicious cheese in block form, or find some Gluten Free crackers to make it a combo. Little pepperoni and you have a mini sandwich!
With these 10 snacks, you can find a way to survive your new lifestyle and stay satisfied with delicious snacks. It’s not all bad living that Gluten Free life, at least we have some stuff to eat!
